Plug & Play and ready to generate solar energy at home. This high-capacity 800W Plug & Play Solar System combines two AIKO Stellar 3N+72 AIKO-A665-MDE72Dw 665W N-Type ABC bifacial double-glass solar panels, a Hoymiles HMS-800-2WB HiFlow Pro microinverter and a 5m Type-G UK Plug & Play AC cable.

With a combined rated solar-panel capacity of 1330Wp, the system provides substantial additional DC capacity to support useful generation during variable UK weather conditions. The Hoymiles microinverter converts the DC electricity produced by the panels into usable AC electricity, with a maximum rated AC output of 800VA.

The two AIKO Stellar panels use advanced N-Type ABC bifacial technology with a durable dual-glass construction. In addition to collecting sunlight through the front surface, the bifacial design can potentially generate additional energy from reflected light reaching the rear of the modules. The amount of additional rear-side generation depends on the installation surface, panel position, spacing and surrounding conditions.

Each panel measures 2382 × 1134 × 30mm and weighs approximately 32.2kg. This package does not include a mounting system, allowing you to select a suitable mounting solution separately according to where and how the panels will be installed.

The Hoymiles HMS-800-2WB has two independent MPPT channels, allowing each solar panel to be managed individually. This helps optimise generation when the panels experience slightly different sunlight levels, temperatures or operating conditions.

Built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth make commissioning and monitoring straightforward. The system works with the S-Miles Home App, allowing you to view solar generation without purchasing an additional DTU.

Flexible Installation

This package brings together the main electrical components required for a high-capacity Plug & Play solar system. There is no need to select the panels and microinverter separately, helping make the purchasing process clearer for customers who want a compatible solar package.

Because no mounting system is included, you can choose a mounting solution appropriate for your intended installation location. This gives you greater flexibility if you already have suitable mounting equipment or require a specific mounting solution.

The panels should be positioned where they can receive good sunlight with minimal shading. The appropriate orientation and mounting arrangement will depend on the property, available space and household electricity-consumption pattern.

Choose Your Own Mounting System

No solar-panel mounting system is included with this package. A suitable mounting solution must therefore be selected separately according to the intended installation location and site conditions.

This makes the package particularly useful if you already have a suitable mounting system or want to choose from different installation options rather than being restricted to one type of mount.

These AIKO panels are larger and heavier than many standard residential solar panels. Any mounting system used should therefore be suitable for the 2382 × 1134 × 30mm dimensions and approximately 32.2kg weight of each panel and installed in accordance with the mounting manufacturer's instructions and applicable installation requirements.

Important Installation Information

Before ordering, measure the intended cable route between the microinverter and the connection point. The package includes a 5m UK AC cable; alternative cable lengths may be available separately where a longer route is required.

The combined solar-panel rating of 1330Wp is considerably higher than the microinverter’s maximum 800VA AC output. The microinverter's AC output is limited to its permitted maximum, so the full combined 1330W rated panel output cannot be delivered as AC power at any one time. The additional DC panel capacity can, however, support generation when available solar irradiance is below the panels' rated test conditions.

Please note: Actual solar generation depends on location, orientation, shading, season, weather, panel temperature and installation conditions. Additional bifacial rear-side generation is not guaranteed and varies according to the amount of reflected light reaching the rear of each panel.
